We were so excited to see our little baby for the first time today.
We've both seen ultrasound pictures of other people's babies, but we
never realized how different it is seeing the ultrasound live. The
baby kicked and moved almost constantly. We had no idea he/she was so
active. Jacob kept asking, "Can you feel that?" each time the baby
kicked. "No," I would laugh. All I could feel was the ultrasound
monitor pressing lightly against my stomach. In this picture the baby
has its arms up by its head. The fist and elbow appear to meld with
the image of the head in the picture. Jacob and I kept joking that it
looks like our baby has a huge schnozzle, but it is really the hand and
elbow up against its face.
